Welcome to Rec Ladder Sports, a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform designed to help users create, manage, and run recreational sporting events. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By using Rec Ladder Sports (“Platform”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our services.

2. Services Provided
Rec Ladder Sports allows users to:

  • Create and manage organizations.
  • Organize and run recreational sporting events.
  • Manage participant registrations and collect payments for events.
The Platform serves as a facilitator and is not directly involved in the operations of any event organized on it.

3. User Responsibilities
3.1 Organization and Event Management
Organizations using the Platform are solely responsible for:
  • The creation, management, and execution of events.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to the event.
  • Handling any participant-related issues, including refunds, cancellations, or other participant concerns.
3.2 Payment Collection and Processing
While the Platform may facilitate payment collection, all financial transactions between organizations and participants are the sole responsibility of the organization. Organizations are responsible for:
  • Setting and disclosing fees to participants.
  • Managing refunds, chargebacks, and payment-related disputes.
The Platform is not responsible for any payment-related disputes that may arise.

4. Disclaimer of Liability
4.1 No Liability for Injury or Damage
Rec Ladder Sports is not responsible for any injury, accident, or loss of property that may occur during any event organized through the Platform. By participating in or organizing an event, you agree that the Platform is not liable for:
  • Any physical injuries or accidents to participants.
  • Damage to or loss of personal property or event facilities.
4.2 Facility and Venue Liability
Organizations are responsible for securing appropriate facilities for their events. The Platform bears no responsibility for the quality, safety, or condition of any venue or facility where an event is held.

5. Indemnification
Users and organizations agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rec Ladder Sports, its affiliates, and its employees from any claims, damages, or costs (including legal fees) arising from:
  • Any misuse of the Platform.
  • Any incident, injury, or property damage occurring during an event organized through the Platform.
  • Any payment disputes or issues between organizations and participants.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rec Ladder Sports shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:
  • Your use or inability to use the Platform.
  • Any issues related to event management, participant interaction, or payment processing.
7. Modification of Terms
Rec Ladder Sports reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will become effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Platform after modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America.
